1/1/19 - APICS OC receives APICS International’s highest chapter award for 2018 - now Platinum for 9+ years!. Chapter Management Excellence is an integral component to enhancing the member experience. Successful APICS chapters provide their members with opportunities for stellar education, career development, and networking. The APICS Chapter Benchmarking and Recognition (CBAR) program recognizes chapters that have exceeded minimum standards and exemplify excellence in overall chapter management. We are proud to announce that the APICS Orange County chapter received the 2018 CBAR Platinum Award designation, an admirable accomplishment for an APICS chapter. As a member of an APICS Platinum Award Winning Chapter, the CBAR designation signifies a chapter’s commitment to providing an exceptional membership experience.
1/21/15 - The chapter announces the launch of its new and improved website designed to be more visually appealing, easier to navigate and a better resource for all members and visitors.
1/7/15 - APICS Orange County will host a Supply Chain Risk Management seminar on February 26, 2015. This is an excellent, all day seminar established by APICS International as part of a Risk Management Certificate Program. 1/7/15 - APICS Orange County Board of Directors voted to offer financial support of up to $1,000 each for one or two student teams for participation in SW District Student Case Competition to be held February 20-21. 1/1/15 - 2015 kicked off with a full slate of APICS courses including Basics of Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Boot Camp [SCBC]-Lean Principles, Master Planning of Resources and Detailed Scheduling and Planning. Upcoming offerings with start dates include: Certified Supply Chain Professional (1/17); SCBC-Capacity and Scheduling (1/27), Detailed Scheduling and Planning (2/26) and Execution and Control of Operations (CPIM, 2/28).
