The Chapter provides an instructor led course uses: The APICS CLTD Learning System is a comprehensive program that serves as a professional development and exam preparation tool. With a combination of print and web-based study tools, the Learning System also includes a free download of the current APICS CLTD Exam Content Manual. Divided into eight modules across four books, the Learning System content is integrated with best practices in the day-to-day functions of logistics professionals to drive improvement in distribution and transportation, maximize efficiency and impact the bottom line.

Join APICS Orange County’s course

It is time to get serious about being on the ground floor of the new Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD). The APICS Orange County Chapter will be conducting a course to prepare participants for the CLTD certification examination. We are inviting you to join us for the APICS Orange County course where you will learn with your peers, guided by an experienced educator, and prepare for the testing.

Sessions will be about 3.5 hours with dinner starting at 6:00 PM

For more detailed course information on content download the free Exam Content Manual Preview, stock # 09160-V10 from the apics.org web site.

The classes will review the 8 major sections of the course in 12 sessions. Participants will be expected to read the material for each class and be prepared to discuss it with the fellow participants. The course will be facilitated by Nicholas M. Testa, Jr., CFPIM, CSCP, CLTD, CIRM, Jonah. He is an APICS Master Instructor for CPIM, CSCP, Lean Workshop, and Principles of Operations Management. He instructs the Supply Chain Logistics course at CSUF Extension.

The course will include:

  • The Learning System 4 manual set and on line resources and quizzes
  • Book of the course Power Point visuals
  • Registration in the class includes:
    • Instructor guidance through the material, support, and Q&A
    • Comradery of fellow exam candidates
    • meal each meeting
    • free self parking

The all-inclusive price will be $1,699 for members and $1,919 for non-members (includes one year membership if requested at registration), Mililtary/Veterans and Students $1,400 (Proof of full-time onsite campus college student required).
